We’ll come out and provide a complimentary initial consultation to understand your vision for the property for the short and long term. We then prepare a proposal to develop a landscape/site plan for your grounds.
If you choose to move forward with our design proposal, we’ll then schedule to take field notes. We’ll have our landscape architect come out to your home, take photos, spot elevations and measurements to capture the existing conditions.
Once we have our first version of your plan completed, we’ll email you a PDF of the plan for initial review. We can also do this in person, but with everyone’s busy schedules, it tends to work out best for the initial review to be done over the phone or via email.
We’ll incorporate any changes, brought up during concept review, into the plan and we’ll prepare a flip book with plant pics and a proposal for the construction work to bring the plan to life.
After the plan presentation, we will incorporate any revisions that have come up, either as a result of aesthetics, function or budget and we’ll go back and forth with you until we’ve gotten it just right.
If you choose to hire us to build and manage your project, we’ll apply our initial design fee back towards the installation work and engage any outside design professionals for permit drawings and secure any necessary permits.
This is where the fun really begins. We’ll work with you, our staff and any other important players in the construction process, to build out your dream project as efficiently and painlessly as possible.
While we call this the final project walk-through, depending on the scope of the project, we may walk through with you several times to review any changes or challenges that pop up along the way. When the project is very close to completion, we’ll schedule a time to meet and review any final details to make sure you are completely pleased with the final product.
